It includes two Mantric chants, a devotional song 'Love-Ananda' first offered to Bhagavan Adi Da Samraj in temple 'Is-Da Happen' the first time He granted Darshan there in 2006, as well as the newly written Sacred Offering "Opus 108 The Beloved" performed in its final and completed form. This masterwork was written in early 2019 and has gone through an evolutionary process having been performed at the Chicago Danda, the Mountain of Attention Sanctuary, the Marin Danda San Francisco, the Catalina house in Los Angeles and now in its final and complete arrangement at the European Danda. This album focuses on the Mantric dimension of Chant and features a total of 3 hours of beautiful and invocatory Sacred music. This album is a compilation of chants and Sacred Offerings recorded live at the recent Da Guru Purnima Celebration which took place at the EU Danda in Maria Hoop the Netherlands on the 19th, 20th and 21st of July 2019. Entitled "Beholding Bhagavan" this album is named after the title track, a beautiful Sacred Offering which has evolved into the current work since it was first offered at the Brightness Gates in 2015 and then again in temple 'Is-Da Happen' for the Da Purnima Celebration in 2017. The album is made up of a Mantric chant, three Sacred Offerings including the very much loved 'Parama Guru Purnima' piece first offered to Bhagavan in temple 'Is-Da Happen' the first time He granted Darshan there in 2006, '723' a beautiful piece first offered on the Matrix Verandah on the day of the 723 celebration in 2017, as well as two newly written devotional songs, a total of 2.5 hours of beautiful and invocatory Sacred music. We wish to send out a big thank you to Susan Cassabon for her original promotional graphic artwork which was used to create this album cover.

NAADA OM is a collaboration between founding members Felix Woldenberg (vocalist, harmonium player, and composer) and Alan Corne (percussionist, drummer, and arranger).

Felix and Alan are very grateful for all the gifts of instruction they received from their beloved master Bhagavan Adi Da Samraj and were grateful for the opportunity to return to Naitauba in June/July of 2017 to offer music for the celebration of Da Purnima.

This album contains two sacred offerings. The first, specifically composed for this celebration, is called "Beloved Master" and features special guest vocalist Aura Bakker. The second, "Parama-Guru Purnima," features the Naitauba Chanting Guild.

This latter composition was first offered to Bhagavan Adi Da Samraj on July 11, 2006, during the Purnima celebration on the sacred island-hermitage of Naitauba, in Fiji, when Adi Da sat for the first time in the newly built temple named "Is-Da Happen".

Bhagavan Adi Da Samraj (1939-2008) devoted his entire lifetime to revealing and establishing the means for human beings to discover the ultimate nature of reality, which he calls “Conscious Light”. He established his principal hermitage Adi Da Samrajashram, on the island of Naitauba, Fiji, in October 1983, as a place of retreat and blessing.

The celebration of “Naitauba Padavara Mela” celebrates this event with the coming together of two cultures: the great Fijian culture of respect based on the tradition of the tuis (or chiefs) and elders, and the culture of devotion to the spiritual master taught by Bhagavan Adi Da Samraj.

Padavara Mela is the annual coming together of these two cultures of respect, which coexist in harmony on Naitauba year-round, in celebrating Bhagavan Adi Da’s arrival at Naitauba. This is a great celebration, marked by an expansive feast and vibrant offerings of music and dance; the Fijians with their wonderful traditional “mekes,” and Bhagavan Adi Da’s devotees with offerings of ecstatic chants and sacred music written specifically for the theme of this celebration.

In 2017, Felix Woldenberg wrote an opus named “Dau Loloma Padavara” to honour Bhagavan Adi Da and the Fijian culture that has contributed so much to Naitauba over the last three-and-a-half decades. Drawing on his Qawwali training, and utilising many Fijian names and titles relating to Bhagavan Adi Da, Felix wrote this work in two movements, encompassing a stronger, more energetic rhythmic style than many of his other works. This sacred offering features special guests the Naitauba Chanting Guild.

The other piece on this album is a call-and-response chant called “Avatara,” which was offered in the devotee village at Adi Da Samrajashram in Temple Adi Da in July 2017.

The human voice is a primary means through which human beings express devotion, therefore religious and spiritual traditions all over the earth have used various forms of chant to worship and invoke the Divine for millennia.

This album is made up of a variety of call-and-response chants and a unison mantric chant. These chanting occasions were recorded during daily worship occasions within the context of the daily practicing form during times of celebration within the rich yearly cycle at Adi Da Samrajashram (on the island of Naitauba in Fiji). As such, these are not performances, but rather an actual record of a practicing culture of devotion in its native setting. In the call-and-response chants, the responses heard are the voices of authentic practitioners.

This album features special guests Steve Haggerty on the Hansaveena, Anthony Costabile on darabouka, and the Naitauba Chanting Guild.
